Neelambar Investments launches Voluntary Blood Donors Website
Neelambar Investments Private Limited, a company incorporated in the Maldives in 2008 has launched a website for voluntary blood donors in Male' and the atolls. This was announced by the company's Managing Director, Mrs Shadiya along with the company's Executive Director, Mrs. Azra today. A statement made by Mrs. Shadiya in this connection read, " We believe have made an earnest attempt to create a live database of voluntary blood donors who could be contacted by needy patients without having to run around and ask for blood. We are hopeful that this website will provide at least some form of assistance to people. In addition we would also like to see more voluntary action from individuals and organizations in this direction"
The success of any such endeavour would depend on how fast the message is circulated around the community and in this regard the company has sought the assistance of all individuals, business organizations and voluntary associations to spread the message of becoming a voluntary blood donor and being a catalyst in saving a life.
